What Happened at Intelliloan?
On May 30, 2025, Intelliloan reported to the Attorney General of Texas that it had experienced a data breach incident in which certain sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. Most details of the intrusion have not been made publicly available, however the types of data leaked allegedly include the following:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Government issued ID number (passport, state ID)
- Financial information (account numbers, credit or debit card numbers)
Intelliloan is expected to begin sending out data breach notification letters to all known impacted individuals. As many as 250 Texan residents are thought to have been impacted, though there has not been a full account of those impacted nationwide. Intelliloan, a financial service provider based in Irvine, California, offers mortgage lending and home loan products, including refinancing, HELOC, home purchasing, VA loans, FHA loans, reverse mortgages.
