What Happened at LCPtracker?

In the data breach notification letters sent out to impacted individuals, LCPtracker explains that a data security incident resulted in an unauthorized party accessing consumers’ sensitive information.

After an internal investigation, LCPtracker confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed its network between August 14 and August 20, 2024. The company determined that the supposed hacker removed files containing confidential consumer information. According to the notice provided to the Texas Attorney General, the names of individuals, Social Security Numbers, and Driver’s License numbers may have been compromised.
