Triumph Motorcycle Recall
A recent Triumph motorcycle recall involves model years 2024 and 2025 Triumph TF250-X closed course competition motorcycles. The right-hand plastic switch cube can allegedly crack when exposed to brake fluid, causing a short circuit that starts the motorcycle unexpectedly, posing an injury hazard. Triumph has received 16 incident reports of the switch cube cracking, in which a number resulted in the motorcycle starting unexpectedly.
SEJOV Five-Drawer Dresser Recall
Almost a thousand SEJOV dressers are being recalled due to reports of them being unstable if not properly anchored to the wall. The instability can pose serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children. According to the CPSC, the dressers violate performance and warning label requirements of the STURDY Act.
Electric Bike Recalls
About 927 Trek Electra Navigator Go! (Model years 2021 and 2022) and Electra Ace of Spades Go! e-bikes (Model years 2018, 2021 and 2022) have been recalled due to an increased crash hazard. The Electra Navigator Go! the Ace of Spades Go! may both have rear fenders coming loose and making contact with the rear wheel. At least one injury has been reported to Trek.
Super73 is recalling their Z Miami SE and Z Adventure Core electric bicycles due to crash and injury hazards that stem from the retaining pin in the e-bike’s disc brake calipers loosening and dislodging from the caliper assembly, resulting in brake failure. There have been over 20 reports of loose retaining pins and/or related brake failure.
Window Shade Recalls
About 15,500 ShadesU Roller window shades are being recalled because of strangulation and entanglement hazards. The window blinds are in violation of the federal regulations for window coverings due to long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children.
Another 4,900 window blinds are being recalled by another firm due to the same strangulation and entanglement hazards. Homebox Blackout Roller Window Shades also have long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to young children.
Tow Behind Field and Brush Mowers Recall
890 units of the DR Power Equipment Tow Behind Field and Brush Mower are being recalled because of a risk of the blade carrier spindle bolt loosening, causing the blade assembly to detach while the mower is in operation, posing a serious laceration hazard. At least ten blade detachments have been reported.
SuperATV Recall
SuperATV carrier bearings for Polaris RZR XP Turbo or Turbo S ROVs are being recalled because if the carrier bearings are installed in a Polaris RZR XP Turbo or Turbo S vehicle and the fuel tank expands, the drive shaft can come in contact with the fuel tank, causing the tank to develop a hole or crack. This can cause the fuel tank to leak gasoline, posing fire and burn hazards. Over ten thousand units have been recalled.
Portable Heater Risk and Safety
