AllTrust Data Breach Investigation

What Happened at AllTrust?

There are several unknowns at the time of writing, though more details of the breach should be released in the coming weeks. As reported, however, we know there was a breach of personal information, impacting individuals with links to Valsoft Corporation, AllTrust and Aspire USA.

AllTrust has reported that some sensitive personal identifiable information in its possession may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on February 14, 2024, AllTrust became aware of unusual activity on the company IT network, a system apparently owned and managed by their subsidiary Aspire. Aspire launched an investigation and later confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been viewed and copied by an unauthorized third party between February 12 and February 15, 2024. The following types of information potentially exposed include:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial account information

On February 27, 2025, AllTrust Networks began mailing data breach notification letters to all known impacted individuals. AllTrust is a financial solutions software company operating out of Herndon, Virginia. The operational arm of Valsoft Corporation, Aspire operates and manages Valsoft’s portfolio of software companies. AllTrust was acquired by Aspire in 2020.
