Biagi Bros Data Breach Investigation
The data privacy lawyers at The Lyon Firm are reviewing data theft claims on behalf of victims and plaintiffs in California and nationwide after Biagi Bros reported a data breach incident on February 25, 2025 to the office of the California Attorney General. The company is expected to send data breach notification letters out to all impacted individuals shortly.
If you are notified by Biagi that your personal data may have been compromised, you are advised to contact an experienced attorney and to begin taking certain measures to prevent future fraud and identity theft.
What Happened at Biagi Bros?
In the letter send to the California AG, the company explains that in January 2025, Biagi identified suspicious activity within their computer network. After an initial investigation, they determined that unauthorized access to certain Biagi systems occurred, and that some information was “viewed or downloaded without authorization.” The incident allegedly occurred between December 31, 2024, and January 10, 2025.
Based out of Napa, California, Biagi Bros is a large logistics firm providing numerous clients with transportation, warehousing and logistics solutions. Sources at Breachsense have reported that hackers may have stolen up to 820GB of data, though that has not been verified by the company itself. The threat actor Cactus has allegedly taken credit for the attack, and it is unclear if there is a ransom demand outstanding.
