Sequoia One, which offers payroll and benefits management, has begun sending out data breach notice letters after it detected unauthorized access to a cloud storage repository that contained a large amount of sensitive and personal data related to customers.

Sequoia says the breach occurred between September 22 and October 6, 2022, and may have included the following information:

Dates of birth
Gender
Marital status
Employment status
Social Security numbers
Email addresses
Wage data related to benefits
Vaccine cards
ID cards
Covid-19 test results
