Social Action Community Health System (SAC Health) has begun providing notice of a recent event that may affect the privacy of certain patient information. Up to 149,000 individuals may have had their data stolen.
On March 4, 2022, SAC Health became aware of a break-in to an off-site storage facility where six boxes of medical records were stolen.
On April 22, 2022, SAC Health concluded that the impacted files related to certain patients served by SAC Health in 1997 and between 2006 and 2020.
