On March 21, 2025, Monro, Inc. filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General of California after they discovered that an unauthorized party had accessed an employee email account. According to the sample letter, Monro detected suspicious activity within an employee’s email account in November 2024. The hacker may have been able to access consumers’ sensitive information, including name, Social Security number, date of birth, ID numbers, and health information.
