What Happened at Keenan & Associates?
On August 27, 2023, Keenan allegedly discovered certain disruptions occurring on company network servers. A subsequent investigation concluded that an unauthorized party gained access to certain Keenan internal systems between August 21, 2023 and August 27, 2023. Keenan, a California-based insurance brokerage and consulting firm, has submitted a notification to the California Attorney General and the Office of the Maine Attorney General, warning that over 1.5 million people were impacted by a data breach incident.
