What Happened at Endue Software?

On March 31, 2025, Endue Software discovered a data breach that occurred on February 18, 2025. The incident affected around 118,028 individuals, according to a notice sent to the state of Maine.

During the alleged data breach, unauthorized individuals were able to gain access to sensitive consumer information stored within the Endue systems. The personal data included personal identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI).

At the time of writing, the investigation was ongoing, and more details should emerge in the comping weeks. We only know that the breach was not discovered until late March, leaving sensitive consumer data potentially exposed for over a month. The compromised information included highly sensitive personal data such as Social Security numbers.
