What happened at Pennsylvania Farm Bureau?
The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau (PFB) reported to the Attorney General of Maine that the sensitive personal identifiable information (PII) in its possession may have been compromised during a data security incident later year. According to the sample breach notice sent out, on December 5, 2024, PFB became aware of suspicious activity on its IT network and started an investigation
The exact type of personal information potentially exposed has not been made clear, however, in similar cyberattacks the following types of persona data have been leaked:

- Dates of Birth
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license or state identification number
- Financial account information
