Fisher Price Infant Swing Suffocation Hazard Recall
Over two million Snuga Infant swings were recalled by Fisher-Price following reports of multiple deaths. Between the years 2012 and 2022, there were five deaths reported involving infants when the Snuga swings were used for sleep. The following Snuga swing models have been recalled:

Gerber Teething Sticks Recalled
All lot codes of Gerber® Soothe n Chew Teething Sticks have been recalled, in the flavors of banana and strawberry apple. The Soothe n Chew recall was initiated by the FDA on January 31 after consumer complaints of choking incidents, with at least one emergency room visit reported.
Thy Trading Roll Up Window Blinds Recall
Thy Trading Roll Up Window Blinds were recalled and reported to the CPSC due to long operating cords that “can cause death or serious injury to children,” a risk of strangulation and entanglement hazards. The window blinds are reportedly in violation of the federal regulations for window coverings, and on February 6, around 700 units were recalled. The bamboo and bamboo semi-sheer roll-up shades were produced in several colors, all of which have been recalled.
LG Electric Range Recall
Half a million LG Slide-In and Freestanding Electric Ranges were recalled due to the front-mounted knobs on the ranges potentially able to be activated by accidental contact by humans or pets, thus posing a fire or burn hazard. The ranges require a repair and consumers who own LG Slide-In Ranges and LG Freestanding Ranges with front-mounted knobs should contact their retailer or LG. The LG range recall follows reports of at least 86 instances of unintentional activation of the front-mounted knobs and dozens of 28 fires. At least five fires caused at least eight injuries and/or pet deaths.
RYOBI Mower Recall
TTI has recalled over 217,000 RYOBI Brushless 21” Cordless Walk-Behind Self-Propelled Multi-Blade Push Mowers after the company received 97 reports of overheating while the mower was in use. So far consumers have reported five fires and two burn injuries.
Fitbit Ionic Burn Hazard Settlement
After years of legal pressure, Fitbit LLC has agreed to pay a $12.25 million penalty to resolve charges that the company failed to report a substantial product hazard in their Ionic smartwatches that they were allegedly aware of. The product posed serious injury risk injury, resulting in the settlement. From 2018 to 2020, Fitbit received dozens of reports of the Ionic smartwatches overheating, including some second-degree and third-degree burns.
